This is a design for a tile project in Roslindale MA. This was the central display in a tiled backsplash of a family who try lots of new things, sometimes hit hard times and chafe under the rules and regulations of the work world, but who get through it with joy and artistry. The display I made for them is a multi-wall tiled backsplash with these hornsmen and lions as well as other characters going through different kinds of landscape and terrain, from forest to lakes and rivers down to the sea.
